As many of you know, there were some latency delay issues with Fan2Stage and many live stream services. We have been working with several agencies and media companies to correct the issue. The latency problem isn’t on the Fan2Stage end, it is with the media hosting companies.
The good news is all of the big media companies realized together that latency is an issue. They agreed that to move live streaming forward the delays needed to be under two seconds.
With that in mind, they began work on “Chunked CMAF“. Until then, artists, hosts, sports teams and house of worship locations with a webcam work best.
